In the event you do not see this on Sue's Facebook message: To the family of Sue: Words cannot express how I feel about the passing of your mother/grandmother. I am so blessed to have known Sue. She saw something in me and gave me a chance to work with an incredible group of individuals at FRIENDS. I learned so much while working with Sue and I have carried on what I learned there to my present life. Some of the staff struggled to get along with Sue, but I learned to work with Sue and be compassionate to how she worked and understanding of the fact that she was wearing an incredible amount of hats at FRIENDS and had to handle daily amounts of stress. Sue helped me feel like I was a part of a family at FRIENDS. It was hard for me to leave that when I went to school at Pima. Sue was pivotal of helping me with that transition. I am still having a hard time with her passing but the only thing I can think of is that she had ascended to the highest point of service on this planet and she was called to serve in another capacity. Sue is not gone. Now she is free to help all of us. And when you become overwhelmed with emotion, she is with you. I wish I could be there next week to celebrate her life but I am living in Delaware now and will not be able to get away due to work and helping my mom settle into the new house.
