Mary Christine Lewis

Mary Christine "Chris" Lewis was born on June 4th, 1934 in Evanston, Illinois to Kathryn Beatrice Swallow Boldt and Charles John Boldt. She passed away on April 22nd, 2022 in Louisville, Colorado.
Chris grew up in Illinois and graduated from high school in 1952 in Wonder Lake. She married Charles McGuire in 1954 and had two daughters before relocating to California in 1959. Two more daughters were born there. Chris married Art Lewis in 1983 and they lived in Cypress, CA until retirement. In 1999 they moved to Colorado and enjoyed traveling and visits from family.
Chris worked in banking and also as a preschool teacher. She was a quilter, cake decorator, and hosted lovely tea parties. She loved being a mother and grandmother and thoroughly enjoyed the years she spent in Colorado when their time was their own.
Chris is survived by her husband, Arthur H. Lewis of Lafayette, CO; sister, Martha Ann (Gary) Vair of Boulder, CO; brother, Richard Bold of Virginia; daughters, Sallie (Shawn) Lynn, Laurie (Robert) Tribken, Jennie (Jon) Zink, Cathie (Bill Galey) McGuire; stepsons, Arthur (Joan) Lewis, Denny (Marie Lopez) Lewis; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
