Warren Irving Rahn

Warren Irving Rahn, 76, passed away July 8th, 2020 in Broomfield, Colorado with his friend by his side. Warren was born on September 21st, 1943 at Fitzsimmons Hospital in Denver, CO to Irving Edwin and Mary Ruth (Dealing) Rahn. He graduated from Aurora High School in 1961. Warren served in the US Airforce and Air National Guard during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1969. He went on to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Law Enforcement from Arapahoe Community College in 1976.

Warren had an extensive career in law enforcement. Throughout the years, he worked for the Thornton and Englewood Police Departments before relocating to Moab, Utah to assist in the creation of a newly organized police department. While working in Moab, Warren was promoted to Detective Sergeant and was in complete charge of creating a crime laboratory for the Investiagtion Unit at the police department. After his success in Utah, Warren moved back to Colorado to work in the Boulder County Department of Social Services as an investigator from 1982 to 1989. From 1989 until his retirement in 2002, Warren worked as a supervisor at the Colorado Department of Corrections. He was very proud of his military service and of his service to the communities he lived in.

Warren is preceded in death by his wife, Charlene, and was laid to rest by her side at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
