In our hearts forever…
Pamela Sparks Norman, of Erie, Colorado, passed in to eternal life with her beloved Savior on July 26, 2020. She was the cherished wife and best friend of Frederick Lamont Norman for the last 20 years. From their union, Frederick Logan, was born. Pam was a devoted mother, and was blessed to see the start of many of Logan’s triumphs and accomplishments.
Born on September 10, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Pam moved to Colorado; earned her Bachelor of Science from Regis University and Master of Technology Management from the University of Denver. Professionally, she was a technologist for IBM for nearly 20 years .
Out of devotion, Pam rededicated her life to Christ, and continued as a member of Second Baptist Church in Boulder, Colorado .
Despite a courageous battle with cancer, Pam knew that Christianity did not exempt one from death. She fought a good fight.
Pam leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Frederick Lamont Norman; son, Frederick Logan Norman; father, Rev. Harold (Linda) Sparks; father-in-law, Frederick Lee Norman; brother, Michael (Angie) Sparks; sister, Gwen Sparks Terrell; stepbrother, Samuel (Jennifer) Sparks; stepsisters, Christina Sparks and Debra Sparks; brother-in-law, Trent (Nina) and, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. It was my pleasure to have Pam as a friend. She Lamont, and Logan are a tremendous family and contributes much in the way of love and support to those they encounter and are in relationship with. I love Pam and though there was distance between us she would send cards on most holiday occasions with updates on the family. Pam you are missed please give God a hug because I know you are in His arms. Edmund and I send our love and condolences to the family. Sincerely Dorothy Daniel
My deepest condolences are extended to Lamont, Logan and all of Pam’s family and friends. Pam was one of the most genuine and kind people I ever met with a smile as big as her heart. I’ll never forget how she supported my family in our darkest hour, doing everything from opening her home to us, to giving us a vehicle to drive, to buying food, to just being there. Her love for Logan oozed out of her very being. You’ll be greatly missed Pam. You served well. You were obedient and now it’s time to take your rest. My prayers of strength, understanding, and peace go out to all impacted by her passing. May you find joy in your memories and may you carry her legacy forward. God bless. Love Sonja Ware Atlanta, GA
I was saddened to hear that my friend had passed. I met Pam while living in Colorado and working for IBM. We worked together and became close friends. She was always someone I could talk to. She had a sweet spirit and beautiful smile. Always positive and up beat and that laugh was infectious. She later became my Sorority Sister. I will miss you so much. I love you Pam affectionately called "Cutt'n Pam". My condolences to Lamont and Logan. I am praying for you and the family. Love, Bonita Perry Ingram Anna, Tx
Such a privilege to have known Pam as a part of the 3 Amigas (Kathy, Sandra & Pam) who were tighter than a 3 strand chord. Such a gentle soul. Learned much about life (relationships, home ownership, spirituality) through you all. "Cuddin/Cuzzin", as we affectionately titled each other, you are already missed and surely loved. Praying the LORD's comfort, peace and strength for Lamont and son and family as you all journey through this season. Willie T. Washington
Our Chasing After Jesus family definitely will not be the same without You Pam. Pam was one of a kind. An honorable, kindhearted, Spirit-filled Woman After God’s Own Heart. She always lead by example. I remember so much how the young ladies in Shekinah Glory wanted to be like you. I will always remember when we met in the parking lot at the Doctors office and talked so long I almost missed my appointment. I’m thankful to have those fond memories. Missing You and your imprint on the Kingdom Of God Dearly.. Jan Cox

Sending our love, prayers and deepest condolences to Lamont and Logan and all of Pam's family in the loss of your wife, your mother and my friend and sorority sister, Pam Norman. Pam was such a blessing to us. Your family welcomed and hosted me (Tanya) overnight when I was applying to graduate school and needed to be on campus for an orientation (the snowy weather would have made travel to and from Denver a nightmare). I was also heading home the next day because my father was in his final days on this earth. Pam ministered to me that weekend, and blessed me as I left your home heading to Louisiana. We often talked on my commute to and from Boulder, and she always extended an invitation to her home if I ever needed it. We will miss her dearly, and I pray that she is resting and at peace. Thank you for sharing Pam with us! With Love, Tanya and Cedric Ennis, Sr.
Prayers and blessings to the entire family. Very sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace Pam, with much love, The Hendershot’s.

Pam was a wonderful Christian friend. I met her at Second Baptist and because her son was in the Angels Without Wings choir, we had many opportunities to work together. She was always so gracious and kind and she loved to joke about singing a solo in the choir. This was the adult choir as well as the children’s choir. She did, however, perform sign language for some songs as well as teaching the children signs for songs. I’ll always remember that great laugh and the beautiful smile she had even when she was in obvious pain. No more pain now, just peace and joy. I hope she’s singing a solo. Logan, Lamont and family, be blessed and comforted. Willia Miller.
Dear Logan, Lamont and the Norman family, my words cannot fully express the sorrow I feel. Pam was a very special woman and many will miss her. Logan, please feel comfort that your mom will always be by your side. My deepest sympathy. Susan & Family
It has been a real pleasure to know and work with Pamela Norman at Second Baptist Church. She was an integral participant while under the Pastorate of Hansford F. Vann Jr. (Emeritus). When we needed to find another Pastor, she was there giving directions and helping to put a sensible and efficient framework together to complete this process smoothly. Her leadership skills were always professional and she exhibited the kind of Christian care and love so vitally necessary when she provided her input while on the Trustee Board. I believed she loved SBC and it showed through her dedication and service. I remember her signing at several of our Winter Concerts and with Angels Without Wings Choir. I will personally miss her as I know everyone at Second Baptist will as well.
May you rest in peace in Delta Heaven by Dear Sweet Soror CHARLOTTE JONES BRYAN,TX
Lamont and Family, My heart is filled with joy and sadness about the homegoing of Pam. Saddened because she is no longer physically with us, joyous because she is with our heavenly Father. Much love, comfort, and peace. The Carpenters( James De Laris, Jamila, James II)
