Nicholas Mitchell Lewellyn

September 12th, 1999June 14th, 2020

Nicholas Mitchell Lewellyn passed away June 14th, 2020 in Lafayette, CO. Nicholas was born at Avista Adventist Hospital on September 12th, 1999 to Renee Papadenis and Mitchell Lewellyn. Following in the footsteps of his family, Nicholas was a 5th generation parishioner of St. Louis Catholic School from pre-school to eighth grade. He then graduated from Broomfield High School. Nicholas enjoyed flying and logged many hours at McAir Aviation Flight School from the time he was 10 years old to the present. He was also a proud member of the Flatirons Young Marines in Longmont, CO. Nicholas loved nature and would go up to the mountains with his friends often to hike. He enjoyed playing guitar, traveling with his grandmother around Europe and Italy, and making people happy. Nicholas loved his family and friends and would do anything to make them laugh, even if it required some teasing. He was a free spirit and was taken from this world far too soon. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Nicholas is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Papadenis of Chicago, IL, and his great-grandparents, Frank and Audrey Varra of Broomfield, CO. Nicholas is survived by his mother Renee Papadenis, his brother Jack Lewellyn, his father Mitch Lewellyn, grandparents, Judith Varra of Broomfield, CO, and Larry and Martha Lewellyn of Florida; uncles Nicholas Papadenis of South Carolina, Mike Saunders of Kentucky, his aunt and uncle, Dan and Paula Richard of Florida; cousins Ella and Luke Papadenis of South Carolina, Jordan and Jacob Richard of Florida; by Sergeant Marshmallow, his dog that he loved so much and many more family members.
