Charles Gregory Sena

July 9th, 1938November 3rd, 2018

Colorado native, Charles Sena, passed away in the comfort of his home on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, at the age of 80. Charles was born on July 9th, 1938 in Mt. Harris, Colorado to Cipriano and Petera. Family was the most important thing to Charles and he loved his family unconditionally. He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed working on all-manner of electronics – very few items got the best of “Mr. Fix-It”… An avid Bronco fan from the beginning of the franchise, Charles supported his team through feast and famine. It was only in his last few years did he prefer the comfort of his lazy-boy to the roar of the crowd at Mile High.  We will dearly miss the man who was a husband, brother, father, papa, uncle and brother-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Joe, Frank, Richard, Betts and sisters Irene, Jean, Rosa and Helena. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Olivia; his son Chuck (Brighton) and daughter Michelle (Erie); grandchildren Aubrie, Adrianna, Morgan and Dylan; great-grandchildren Greg and Elliot; brothers Augie, Robert, and Johnny; and many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Services for Charles will take place on Wednesday, November 14th at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (2361 East 78th Avenue; Denver, CO 80229). Viewing is at 10am, Rosary at 10:30am and Mass at 11am.

Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Avenue; Denver, CO 80236) at 1:15pm, Staging Area B.

Following the interment, the family will host a reception at Holy Cross Catholic Church (9371 Wigham St; Thornton, CO 80229) from 3-5pm.
