Kayla, Jordan, Alissa and Natalie, I am so sorry about the loss of your grandfather and father. He was a good man, and one of my favorite fishing buddies. May you find comfort in your memories and the love that you have for him. Godspeed. Wopila Tunkasila (the Creator). Ralph

Dear Mestas family. Words could never ease all your pain completely , but hopefully my words may comfort. I love my dad, but sadly he just wasn’t around. My best buddy Sam shared his pops with me. Mr Mestas probably saw every football practice I had; every bike race I entered and was always willing to make sure I could get to my events as my mom regularly worked 60-80 hours a week. I have so many fond memories of Ben. I had a chance to see him a few years ago as I was visiting Colorado and was showing the kids where I gree up across the street from the Mestas family. I saw Ben outside and went over to talk to him. I hadn’t seen him since I was in high school. He was just as warm and caring as he always was. I am eternally grateful for him and all the Mestas family. May God watch over, protect and love you all. Daniel Nino
