Leroy Louis Trujillo

Lifelong Lafayette, CO resident Leroy Louis Trujillo died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette. He was 78 years old. Leroy was born on March 5, 1939 in Lafayette, the son of John and Emma (Luerox) Trujillo. After attending school in Lafayette, Leroy served his country in the United States Army from 1957 to 1961 serving in Korea. After his military service, Leroy began a career in construction with Anderson Construction in California. He moved back to Colorado in 1979. Leroy’s hobbies included fishing, watching the Broncos and all sporting events. He also enjoyed travel to Black Hawk for the buffet’s. The one special passion in his life the spending time with his grandchildren and never missing a sporting event of theirs or his nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, and siblings Ramona Garcia, Jimmy Trujillo, Shirley Sandoval, Joanne Garnica, Beverly Fresquez, and Kathy Trujillo. Surviving family members are his children Efemia Sifuentes of Denver, Louis LeRoy Trujillo and his wife Kimberlee of Firestone, Manuel Joseph Trujillo and his wife Deborah of Fountain, Magdalena T. Trujillo of Broomfield, and Angela Lynn Delgado of Federal Heights. He is also survived by his brother John Trujillo and his wife Ruby, 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2018, AT 11:30 AM, AT THE DARRELL HOWE MORTUARY IN LAFAYETTE.

BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN THE LAFAYETTE CEMETERY.
