Condolences

Our sincerest condolences to Bob's family. I worked with Bob from time to time at IBM, played many a rounds with him and socialized with Bob and his beloved Lordes over the years. Bob was a great guy and we shared many stories and jokes throughout the years. He was a character extrordinaire and when I first met him, he reminded me of W.C. Fields!! In fact when I first met Lordes, I had to ask some of my co-workers if Bob had himself a beautiful mail order bride!!! Only to find out they were high school sweethearts!! (They both got a good laugh from that when I told them!!!). At any rate, I will miss Bob a lot.. For me, he was a good man and a great friend to have. I told him several weeks back that I will remember him until my last days. May God bless his soul and comfort his family.. Pete Corneau
Bob and I worked together at IBM in Boulder for several years. We had some interesting times at work. Bob was a great guy and I will always remember some of the crazy times we had and ornery things that make work fun. Our prayers go out to the boys in these difficult times. Doug and Sandra Glaspell
I love my Uncle Robert. He’ll be missed by many. He had a great laugh. Ever since I was a child, he loved to tease me. Really, that continued always,... and I learned to take to better as an adult. He loved his family. He was so proud of his sons. I’ll always remember the times we spent together... not only in my childhood when my grandparents would take me with them on their travels to Boulder to visit him and my ever-beautiful Aunt Lourdes and fun cousins Kevin & Sean, but times throughout my life when we would get to visit. Most recently... I wouldn’t trade the nearly 3 weeks he spent in my home in 2016 or the 3 days David and I spent in his last January. Seems strange to know a generation has passed in the McGuire family. My Uncle Robert was the last surviving sibling of my dad. The resemblance is definitely there. So grateful to have heard the stories he told me and shared times together. I love him. Great photo! And I love you Kevin and Sean and pray for you both in these difficult days. Love, Felica McGuire Stanley (and David too!)
