Lesli will be missed very much. I worked with her at Lynne Rienner Publishers for many years. I have such fond memories of all the goodies she would bring back for everyone when she was on vacation at the Cape. We use to talk about how much better the fish and food was back east. Such a sweet person who has left us way too soon. My heart goes out to her family and especially her daughter Sophia who has turned out to be a beautiful young girl just like her mom. Thoughts and prayers to all. Patty
Lesli was an incredible woman who took the time to encourage others in their life even when she was struggling near the end of hers. We were family thru marriage and I will miss her popping in to say hello every so often on aocial media just to keep in touch. My heart breaks for her family and Sophia. So very sorry for the loss of a beautiful soul. Renee
My dear friend you will be missed! I remember the first day I met you, volunteering for our daughter’s first grade class, and how sweet, kind, friendly, and caring you were, just a beautiful person inside and out. Throughout the years, as we volunteered at the school, conversations were effortless, we always had so much to say to each other on the rare occasions that we met, I will miss seeing you! Much love and deepest sympathy to your beautiful daughter Sophia and family.
I'm sorry your loss, lesli and I were in the same graduating class at needham high
I am profoundly saddened to have to say good-bye so such an extraordinary young woman. Lesli's incredible strength, joy, passion for life and compassion for all people was truly inspiring. She was an exceptional person and I cherish all of the time we spent together growing up in Needham, working together at Volante Farms after college and reconnecting in Brewster every summer at family gatherings. I learned so much from Lesli and I am forever grateful to her for making me strive to be a better person. I will forever miss Lesli's beautiful smile, warm embraces and amazing laugh which I will also remember so vividly. All my love and prayers to Sophia and the Brooks family. Cindy
We are so sad to hear of Lesli's passing. She was a lovely woman who battled very courageously against cancer. We know that her spirit and vivaciousness will live on through Sophia. All our love to the Brooks Family and all who loved Lesli. Love, Jeff & Jen Button
I spent my last few minutes on the BPC beach in July with Lesli. Despite how terrible I'm sure she felt, she had me in stitches talking about weird health things and raising our teenagers. She was thanking ME for the support and all I could think was that she really set a high bar for living with cancer with grace and dignity. BPC won't be the same without that smile. Extra hugs to all the Brooks and Sophia. Kristin (Button) Patton
Lesli had been one of my very best friend's since moving here to Boulder. We both began working at a copy shop on Pearl Street, me moving from New Hampshire and her from Massachusetts, within months of each other. She was hilarious to work with, smarter than anyone else there and everyone loved her. My memories of our friendship, all of our good times before having our daughters and then after having kids, her huge bear hugs, big laugh and smile - and many, many more memories - will always be cherished in my heart. She had the capacity to take care of everyone else, even in the past year and last weeks of her life. Her heart had endless love to give. I've never met anyone like Lesli. She is so missed and will always be loved. My heart is breaking for her family and friends all over the globe. I am so grateful for having had her in my life and for her loving me so truly. I will always be thankful for her. My thoughts are with all of Lesli's loved ones. -Rebecca

Dear Sandy, Peter, Keri, Michael and Family of Lesli, Please know that all of you will be remembered in our prayers. We are so sorry. With deepest sympathy, Bob and Carol Giumetti and Family
I am sorry for your loss. Please allow God to comfort you through this painful loss through His promise to care for our dead loved ones in the resurrection at Acts 24:15. Death was not a part of God's original purpose for mankind and that is why it is so hard to deal with this kind of loss. But our loving Heavenly Father has provided a solution to all of our problems including sickness, old age and death through His kingdom{government} in the hands of Jesus Christ our Lord real soon so that we can enjoy the wonderful life He purposed on a paradise earth. {Psalms 37:9-11,29}
