Jennifer Rae Knott

March 14th, 1966September 16th, 2022

Jennifer "Jen" Rae Knott, 56, of Louisville Colorado, was welcomed into the Lord's arms on September 16, 2022. Jennifer was born on March 14, 1966, in Minneapolis Minnesota to Jack and Madeline Knott.

She graduated from Centaurus High School in 1984. Following graduation, she attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where she studied medical billing. Throughout her college years she found interest in the accounting field, where she then grew her career.

Following her studies, in 1989 she planted roots in the Boulder County area where she raised her two sons. For many years to come Jennifer was an integral part of her community in Louisville.

Jennifer served her community for more than 15 years. She was a member of the Tri-City Elks Club where she held many titles, including Exalted Ruler from 2013-2016. Most recently she served at the American Legion, Post 111 where she was a devoted member of the Ladies Auxiliary Club.

Volunteering her time to the City of Louisville was one of her greatest passions. This included dedicating her time to the recovery efforts of the Marshall fire, The Louisville Golf Tournament and The Louisville Easter Egg Run, just to name a few. She was passionate about raising awareness for both epilepsy and breast cancer.

You could find her heading the kitchen, where she cooked every dish with love. In the springtime she soaked up the Colorado sun tending to her garden; hot peppers and tomatoes were sure to be a staple. When she wasn’t using her green thumb, she found serenity in water. Jen was an avid sports fan and was always cheering on all of her favorite sports teams, especially The Avs and The New York Jets.

Jennifer is preceded by her father, Jack Knott, mother, Madeline Knott, and older brother Pat Knott.

She is survived by her significant other, David Wyman of Louisville Colorado, as well as her sons Scott and Eric Loftesness, her three grandchildren, and two adored sisters.

Jennifer was a beloved companion, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many. For more information regarding donations towards the memorial bench in Jennifer's name please visit
