Judith Carol Huntting

December 8th, 1942July 14th, 2022

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Judy. She was born on December 8th, 1942 to Dorothy Minard Alexander and George Alexander in Sacramento, California. Early in the morning of July 14th, her heart gave out. She was 79.

Judy spent her early life in Roseville, California. She moved to Colorado with her husband and children in 1971. During her time here she lived in Boulder, Longmont, and finally Louisville. She loved gardening, sewing, dancing, and being silly. She cherished being a mother, teaching her daughter to be brave, and her son to be patient. Her family will miss her dearly and hold their memories of her close.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and George Alexander of Roseville, CA. She is survived by her children, Bradley Huntting of Boulder, CO and Barbra (Mark Tracy) Huntting of Boulder, CO; by her brother, Neil (Elaine) Alexander of Lisbon, ME; and by her granddaughter, Ava.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Humane Society of Longmont, where Judy found her last companion – a cat named Sile (appropriately pronounced Silly). Please click on the link to make a donation:  https://www.longmonthumane.org/donate/
