Richard Allen Channel

March 8th, 1935 — January 9th, 2022

Richard Allen Channel was born on Friday, March 8th, 1935 in Louisville, Colorado to Chester and Ethel (Duffy) Channel. He passed away at the age of 86 on Sunday, January 9th, 2022 in Louisville. Richard spent his whole life in Louisville and graduated from Louisville High School. He worked at Rocky Flats from 1957-1995 before retiring.

Richard is survived by his wife, Doris Channel, his daughter, Connie (Randy) Swihart of Fort Lupton, Colorado, and his grandson, Patrick (Katie) Carrillo of Austin, Texas.

Had the pleasure of meeting Dick and Doris many years ago. They invited me into their beautiful home many times, and Dick was always extremely friendly and welcoming. Very much enjoyed conversing with them and feeling like a part of the family for a time. My deepest condolences to this wonderful family.
