Ron "The Hair Man" Bergeson

August 31st, 2021August 31st, 2021

Ron was an Iowa native and landed in Colorado in the early 60’s by way of Minnesota and Illinois.
The “hair man” became interested in his profession when Uncle Rusty opened/owned a cosmetology school in Denver. At 27 years young, Ron and his friend John opened the doors of Bee-Lov-Lee in 1965. Their clients were varied and numerous because the shop was personable and fun! The shop name was changed to J & R Hair in the 70’s to be “gender neutral.” In 2000, he closed the shop and semi retired from hair. His co-workers were with him for 30+ years and up to 45+. They were such an integral part of his loving family.
In 83 years, Ron “the boss” packed in more adventures than imaginable. Ron served in the US Army. He loved his motorcycles including his Indian, Harleys, scooters and dirt bikes. He piloted small planes. Also, he was passionate about tennis, biking, hiking with friends and family dogs, camping, ping pong and wearing a favorite hat for each occasion.
All of these adventures, his immense love for his wife, Maryl, his sons Brad & Charlie & partner Nicole, many relatives & friends, were instrumental in his full Life.
His faith and trust in the Lord walked him Home…LOVE COMPLETE.
No gifts, please. Through the Glory of God we have a more than we need. Consider giving a fabulous tip to your hair stylist in memory of Ron or give generously where you deem it matters.
