Doris Lorraine Pascoff

Doris Lorraine Pascoff passed away peacefully on Monday, July 19. She was born on August 6, 1933 in what was the small coal mining town of Frederick, Colorado.

Doris graduated from Frederick High School in 1951 and went to work for Mountain Bell in Denver. She spent 39 years in the MA Bell organization.

As a youngster, Doris was quite talented in learning to play the piano. She took piano lessons from Mary Catherine Beynon for fifty cents a lesson. At 14 years old, she began playing at Sunday services at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Frederick. In addition to Sunday services, she played at most of the marriages and funerals. She played at St. Theresa's for over 50 years.

Doris was very fond of dogs and cats. Not many strays passed through her yard without beind adopted. She was also an avid Broncos fan. 

Doris was a generous woman who gave freely of her resources to St. Jude, The Wild Animal Sanctuary, and Little Sisters of the Poor. Donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by visiting

Doris was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary and Peter Pascoff. She is survived by her brother Peter E. (Grace) Pascoff, numerous relatives, and long-time caregiver, Susan Wollan.


The funeral service will be private.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Doris' passing. I have many fond memories of her playing the piano and organ and conversations when I visited her with my grandma many years ago. So sorry for your loss. Ralph Babish
